November is Financial Literacy Month in Canada and to celebrate, Monnaie Money and its supporting partners wants to give away the following prizes:

  • A tablet and cash prize of $500 dollars
  • An iPad 4
  • A Laptop
  • A video camera
  • A digital photo camera
  • Gift carts from our sponsors

To win one of the prizes listed above, all you have to do is to create a video of 3 minutes VC2014(maximum) dealing with the following subjects related to financial literacy:

  • Money management
  • Savings
  • Using credit cards
  • Fraud prevention
  • Student debt
  • Debt management
  • Budgeting
  • Paying for education
  • Taxes
  • Spending

To be eligible for the contest, you or the member of your team must be between 12 and 35 years old and must be residents of Quebec.

Have you thought about a theme for your submission for The 2013 Financial Literacy Video Contest?   If you have not, you only have just a couple more weeks to film, edit and submit the video before October 25th, 2013.

All Monnaie Money is asking contest participants to do is to submit a creative video dealing with financial literacy matters such as:

  • Personal Savings
  • Debt management
  • Credit card management
  • Fraud prevention
  • Etc.

Need some inspiration?  Check out the videos that were submitted for the 2012 contest, however; Monnaie Money wants this year’s videos to be original.  Tone of the video can be funny, serious or be a music video.

To be eligible, you must be:

  • 12-35 years old at time of video submission
  • A resident of the province of Quebec

You may submit your entry by posting to YouTube or Vimeo or mail a DVD to us.   Enter more than one video as an individual, team up with friends or submit a video as an organization.
